Move-In / Out

These whole-home items are completed as part of every Move-In / Move-Out cleaning.

  • Detail-clean accessible trim and moldings
  • Damp-wipe all window sills
  • Clean accessible window tracks
  • Full baseboard wipe-down throughout
  • Wipe accessible storage shelving in areas not covered by room sections
  • Dust accessible vent and return covers (surface only; no disassembly)
  • Final whole-property check and removal of cobwebs in all safely reachable areas
  • Behind and under appliances — only where already moved and safely accessible

Not included: oil or chemical stain removal, pressure washing, junk hauling, hazardous materials, moving heavy objects, construction debris, or pest waste.

Upholstery Steam Cleaning

Add-On

Upholstery Steam Cleaning is available as an optional add-on for suitable upholstered furniture.

Upholstery shampooing, hot-water extraction, deep chemical cleaning, restoration, and guaranteed stain or odor removal are not included.

Patio

  • Sweep accessible patio surfaces
  • Remove light accessible cobwebs
  • Light wipe of accessible empty surfaces

Not included: pressure washing, exterior wall washing, heavy furniture moving, animal waste, grease, paint, rust, adhesive, or oil removal, or hauling debris.

Room layouts and fixtures vary. We may perform comparable routine detailing reasonably associated with the listed tasks, but this does not expand the service to include specialty, restorative, hazardous, inaccessible, or separately priced work.

  • Deep Cleaning includes everything in Standard Cleaning.
  • Move-In / Move-Out includes everything in Deep Cleaning.
  • Interior appliance cleaning is available as an Add-On Service.
  • Cabinets, drawers, closets and appliances must be empty before interior cleaning.
  • Laundry room cleaning is included in Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning and available as an Add-On; doing laundry (washing and drying) is an Add-On only.

The checklist describes the normal scope of each cleaning level. Services apply only to areas that are empty where required, safely reachable, accessible without moving heavy items or disassembly, and suitable for normal cleaning methods. Results may vary based on the age, material, condition, installation, and prior damage of a surface.

Tasks not listed as included, unusual or excessive conditions, and work requiring additional labor, specialty methods, disassembly, restoration, hazardous-material handling, or licensed services are outside the booked scope unless separately reviewed and approved. If the property or requested work differs materially from the booking details, we will discuss any change in scope, time, or price before additional work begins.

Outside our standard scope.

A few things we don't take on as part of a regular clean. Some can be arranged separately, others we leave to the right specialist. We'd rather be upfront than surprise you. Full house rules are in our Service Policies.

  • Mold remediation
  • Hazardous material and biohazard cleanup
  • HVAC, duct and filter cleaning
  • Carpet, rug, or curtain shampooing / deep chemical cleaning
  • Exterior windows and screens
  • Chimney or fireplace cleaning
  • Floor stripping, waxing or polishing
  • Re-caulking or re-grouting
  • Drains, clogs or anything sewage-related
  • Pest control or pet waste handling
  • Moving heavy furniture or large objects
  • Reorganizing closets or lining shelves
  • Full wall washing, heavy stain treatment, damaged paint, wallpaper, and specialty wall finishes
  • Hauling away trash or clutter
  • Inside of the washer or dryer
  • Cabinets or pantries that aren't emptied first
  • Picking up or storing scattered clothing or personal items
Emptying ordinary household wastebaskets into the client's on-site trash container is included. Bagging, sorting, removing, transporting, or disposing of excessive trash, bulk items, construction debris, or junk is not included. Excessive trash or clutter may prevent service, require rescheduling, or require a separately approved custom service. Elysium does not provide junk hauling.
A couple of honest notes. If it's been over a month since a professional clean, we'll suggest a deep clean for the first visit. And if a space turns out far beyond what was described — heavy buildup or conditions significantly different from the booking — extra time may apply at $65/hour, or we may need to reschedule. We always flag it before doing anything extra. Surface dusting of accessible vent and return covers is included in Move-In / Move-Out cleaning; deep HVAC and duct cleaning requires a licensed specialist.
