FAQ

Questions, answered.

Everything you need to know before, during, and after your cleaning. Can't find what you're looking for? Just ask.

01Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

No. As long as we have safe access — a key, lockbox, garage or gate code, or smart-lock instructions — you don't need to be present.

02Can I leave a key or access code?

Yes. You can leave a key, lockbox, garage, gate, or smart-lock access. Please make sure the details are accurate to avoid delays.

03What access do you need?

Safe entry at the booked time. If you provide entry instructions, you're confirming you're authorized to share them.

04Do I need running water and electricity?

Yes. Both must be available during the appointment; without them we may need to reschedule.

05Do you move furniture?

No. We clean around heavy furniture and appliances but don't move them, for safety.

06Do you clean behind appliances?

Only during a Move-Out, and only if the appliance has already been moved and is safely accessible. We don't move appliances ourselves.

07Do I need to empty cabinets before interior cleaning?

Yes. Interior cabinet, drawer, pantry, and closet cleaning is done only when those areas are empty.

08Do you clean inside the refrigerator and oven?

Yes, as an Add-On. The appliance must be completely emptied before we start.

09Do you clean the laundry room?

Laundry room cleaning (exterior of washer/dryer, lint, surfaces, floor) is included in Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning and available as an Add-On. It isn't part of Standard Cleaning.

10Do you wash clothes?

Yes — washing and drying clothes (one standard household load) is available as an Add-On.

11How many dishwasher loads are included?

One dishwasher load is included with Standard Cleaning. Extra loads or hand-washing are Add-Ons.

12Do you change bed linens?

Yes — we make the beds, and if clean replacement linens are provided we'll change linens on up to two beds at no extra charge. More beds may incur a small fee.

13What if I have pets?

Pets may remain in the home if they can safely stay away from active work areas. Aggressive, anxious, escape-prone, or disruptive animals must be secured in a room that will not be cleaned.

14Do you clean pet accidents or litter boxes?

No. We don't handle litter boxes, pet waste, vomit, or other biohazard materials.

15What if my home is much dirtier than expected?

If the condition differs significantly from what was described at booking, extra time may be needed. We'll always discuss any added charge with you before continuing.

16What does Deep Cleaning include?

Everything in Standard, plus built-up grease, hard-water deposits, baseboards, grout, tops of cabinets where reachable, and the detailed spots routine cleans skip.

17What does Move-Out Cleaning include?

Everything in Deep, plus inside empty cabinets, drawers and closets, and whole-home detailing — doors, frames, window sills and tracks, baseboards, and accessible vent covers. See the room-by-room breakdown on the Checklist.

18Can you remove every stain?

Not always. Some stains, discoloration, rust, paint, or adhesive residue may be permanent and can't be removed by standard cleaning.

19Do you clean walls?

We include limited spot cleaning of accessible, washable painted walls during Deep and Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning when the surface can be treated safely. Full wall washing, heavy buildup, permanent stains, damaged paint, wallpaper, and specialty finishes are outside the standard scope.

20Do you clean marble, quartz, or natural stone?

Yes, but please tell us before the visit if your home has delicate or specialty materials so we use the right method.

21Can I request fragrance-free or eco-friendly products?

Yes. Let us know before your appointment so we can prepare the right products.

22Do you take photos?

Sometimes — of work areas, before/after, for quality assurance or insurance. We do not intentionally photograph personal documents, financial information, computer screens, or other confidential materials. See our Privacy Policy for how photos are handled.

23How high do you clean?

We clean surfaces safely reachable with a standard two-step ladder. Anything beyond safe working height is excluded.

24Do you do biohazard, mold, or hazardous cleanup?

No. Mold remediation, hazardous materials, and biohazard cleanup are outside our scope and need a licensed specialist.

25What are Add-On Services?

Extras beyond the standard scope — interior appliance cleaning, interior windows, laundry room, walk-in closet, pet-hair removal, and more, priced separately.

26What if something is damaged?

Tell us within 24 hours of the visit so we can look into it while it's fresh. Please keep the item as-is until we've had a chance to review. For the full damage and liability terms, see our Service Policies.

27What if I'm not satisfied with part of the cleaning?

Contact us within 24 hours and tell us which area needs attention. If the issue relates to the cleaning scope you booked, we'll review it and return to re-clean the affected area at no additional charge. The guarantee covers corrective re-cleaning rather than an automatic refund. Full conditions are available in our Terms of Service.
